For years I have run the finances and operations of an independent publisher and built the cash-flow models, sales analytics, and accounting pipelines it depends on. Now I build the same for other owners, increasingly with AI doing the heavy lifting.

The report nobody has time to build, built once and then automatic. I write the parsers and pipelines that pull your data together from wherever it lives and turn it into dashboards and scheduled reports you can rely on.
Custom FileMaker and Claris systems that fit the way your business actually works, plus the integrations and migrations to connect them to everything else. I build new ones, and I rescue the ones that have outgrown the person who first made them.
Your books should not eat a week every month. I clean up the mess, set QuickBooks up to categorize and reconcile itself, and build the recurring reports you are tired of assembling by hand, so the numbers stay current and ready when you need them. A bookkeeper keeps the books. I make them run on their own.
The manual workarounds, the copy-paste between tools, the process that only works because one person remembers it. I take those on and leave a documented system in their place, one that runs without you in the loop.

I lead operations at an independent publisher, where I am the person behind the cash-flow models, the sales and royalty systems, the accounting pipelines, and the analytics the company runs on. Most of it I built from scratch, because the off-the-shelf version either did not exist or did not fit.
I bring that same work to other owners: clean up what is messy, automate what is repetitive, and build the reporting that tells you where you stand. I work in fixed-scope projects with a clear deliverable, I keep your data on your side of the fence, and I increasingly let AI handle the grunt work so the result costs less and arrives faster. You end up with a system you understand and own, not a dependency on me.
